As a long time subscriber to your podcast Randi , I feel like Loretta was part of my extended family . Your stories about her were always a joy to hear. It’s good to see and hear that she knew she was loved by those closest to her.
So sorry that Loretta has passed, Randi. She was a remarkable woman (I know that through her rare appearances on your shows over the years, through your enduring love for her, and for the fact that she has given us all a great gift: you.
In her honor, I'm doubling my monthly support to you and to your work. It's not a lot of money, but my heart is in there, too.
Thank you Loretta for giving us Randi, and thank you, Randi for giving us so much over the years. Rosemary G. from NYC
So very sorry to hear about Loretta! Your anecdotes about her were always so fun. I felt like I knew her. Seeing her on the video confirms that my mental image was close. :) I hope your fond memories of Loretta will ease the pain of her loss over time. My best to you and all who loved her.
OMG! Your Mom was a hoot!! I've always loved your impersonations of your Mom, just frickin' funny. I hear the afterlife is full of Potsy, I mean everyone knows that...right?
Big hug to you & your family during this really tough time. Don't forget to breathe Randi. Love you, Renée Nelson, Denver CO
Oh! Randi! I got sum' in my eye right now! Blessing will fall like rain and tears, too. What a gal. What a beautiful mom. Sending love and we all sit Shiva with you, my dear.
BDH! She was still so vital, so joyful, so lucid, so loving. The love in your eyes as you filmed her says it all right there. The world just won't be the same without a new Loretta chapter. Don't you just know she's up there right now with Uncle Neil watching and kibbitizing about every move you make. I've been where you are now and while it does eventually get a little easier, there is no other feeling like when you lose your one and only mother. We all have to do it unless we go first. So begrudgingly, we welcome you to the club of motherless children. You'll keep her alive in your heart and think of her every day til you go to join her. May her memory ALWAYS be for a sweet, beautiful blessing! <3
I now know where you got your chutzpah. Keep on doing her voice please, she was a character. Sorry for your loss Randi 💕
